Loru, I've tested her out, I will say, it takes time to catch the explo frigs, alot of patients needed but you can get them and I got 2.8 bill worth of loot between 3 explo kills!! Now let's talk tc3s.... she holds up against them. I got jumped by a loki. She held ferm i had enough time to get out whilst out nueting loki, if I diddnt have so much loot on board I would of stayed and taken the loki scalp aswell lol. Awesome build I'll try to get clips soon and post to you!!
Agreed. This is a great example of "it sounds good on paper but completely falls apart in practice". Not sure why there was a mention of the ligature...why would they have that equipped if the event only spawns data sites.
I've found that catching frigates in a stealth bomber that can lock as soon as you drop cloak is very hit or miss, having to wait for the cloak to drop then target a frigate from a cruiser is going to take ages. Also a lot of event data site fits have at least a warp core stab, or they run a Metamorphosis which has a built in warp core stab AND the actual module so you have to fit a scram + faction scram to actually catch them. To make it effective against frigates you'd need a sensor booster and at least dual scrams, but then you are still easy prey for most T3Cs. Either way I love the idea, too many guides out there that teach people perfectly optimized event site carebearing and not enough PvP skullduggery.
Nah, man, there’s ways around it. Just killed a buzzard yesterday who dropped a ligature, and I was flying a rolling Megathron on my alt. Lock time on that is way worse than the Stratios, and that one drop paid for half my ship lol. Set a perch, warp to the can he’s hacking, decloak at 3k and ram his ass so his align gets messed up while you recalibrate.
No. Bombers is like the worst lol. Metamorphosis is pretty good. Astero is solid. Pacifier is pricy. I think a PVP prospect is better than a bomber lol
@@RiotCl0s818 Ive got 100s of explorer kills with a bomber, its shooting fish in a barrel. Cheap as chips, No delay to lock time after decloaking, lock boom. Dont over complicate it, dont risk more isk

Tip: use highsec winter filaments to go back to highsec bypassing triglav space

great ship but the lock speed after de-cloak is going to lose you any frigate that isnt asleep. If you want to gank frigates then use a bomber.
